Help Fund CEI’s Partnership with Operation Respect to Create Safer School Communities

Do you ever feel like you need fresh new ideas to eliminate bullying and create safer school communities? If you do, I am sure you are as excited as I am about the partnership the Center for Educational Improvement (CEI) has with the nonprofit organization, Operation Respect, Inc. to further our signature Heart Centered Education and make schools better places for our children.

Founded by Peter Yarrow of the folk group Peter, Paul & Mary, Operation Respect, Inc. disseminates educational resources designed to establish a climate that reduces the emotional and physical cruelty some children inflict upon each other by behaviors such as ridicule, bullying and, in extreme cases, violence. It is a unique organization that provides a gateway to broad scale adoption of school-based character education as well as social and emotional learning (SEL) programs.

What are the benefits of the Operation Respect/CEI collaboration?  Students with more confidence are better equipped to manage their emotions, communicate, think creatively, resolve conflicts nonviolently, and overcome obstacles to succeed in the classroom and in life.

During the holiday season and throughout the year, consider how a tax-deductible contribution of $30, $100, $500, $1,000 or another amount would support CEI’s collaborative work with Operation Respect and help to reduce violence and further compassion and caring in communities and schools. The links above and the button below will enable you to make a secure donation via PayPal, a global leader in secure online payments.

You can also designate the “Operation Respect/Center for Educational Improvement (OR/CEI) Project” on your check when mailing a contribution to:

Operation Respect, Inc. 2 Penn Plaza, 20th Floor New York, New York 10121

Your gift will be used solely to develop highly motivational school programs combining the best of Operation Respect and CEI’s Heart Centered Education for integration into academic courses throughout the school day. It will also directly support CEI’s work identifying and sharing the latest research in 21st century innovations in learning through our EducationNOW blog and Wow!Ed newsletter.

Most importantly, your donation will bear dividends in the lives of children and make a difference in improving education’”nationally and internationally’”for years to come.

Best wishes and many blessings to each of you  this holiday season!

P.S. Enjoy the video below about Peter’s work in Israel.
