Blaine Hawley is a 39-year educator who has served as Teacher, School Counselor, Assistant Principal and currently serving as an Elementary Principal for Harford County Public Schools. Blaine is the 2022 Nationally Distinguished Principal, NAESP certified Principal Mentor and an ICF Certified Coach. Blaine is a past NAESP Board Director, MAESP past president, former NAESP State Representative as well as actively involved on committees/work groups for both NAESP and MAESP since 2000.

Throughout her career, Blaine has focused on the social and emotional needs of students to promote achievement and learning. This has been accomplished with the belief that all students can learn and reach their potential through understanding each individual. Blaine encourages family involvement, understanding that open communication and a strong partnership with family is a key to student success.
