Scott Goldstein

Scott Goldstein is the Executive Director and Founder of EmpowerEd, an organization dedicated to educator retention through teacher-led advocacy and promoting whole-school educator wellness. With ten years of experience as a social studies and ESL teacher in D.C. Public Schools and Public Charter Schools, Scott brings a wealth of classroom experience. In addition to his teaching background, Scott has served as a teacher trainer, facilitator, and school leader. He has advised local leaders on education policy, consulted on education policy for local campaigns and elected officials, and authored two books on youth involvement in the political process. Inspired to make a difference by keeping exceptional teachers in schools that need them the most, Scott founded EmpowerEd in 2016.
